Thanks to the DuPage County Bar Association, Woodridge United Methodist Church and 4 families who made the start of 2021 most memorable. This week we collected a total of 1800 clothes, most were just cleaned and ready to be given to Logan Women's Prison, Ellsworth Women's Prison in Wisconsin and any one of 18 IDOC Men's Prisons in Illinois . There will be many parolees that are not as cold as they would have been had the people in Illinois shared of what they had. ... See MoreSee Less

Thank you, thank you to all of our donors and volunteers
2020 was a good year for Suits For Success and we will have a better year in 2021.
Despite many of our Donation Sites being shut down and many prisons periodically on lock down we were able to deliver over 12,600 clothes. In addition to the State of Illinois DOC we opened up Wisconsin DOC, Illinois Juvenile and The DuPage County Correctional facility in Winfield. With your cash donations and clothes donations we were able to make this possible. In addition we grew our ranks of volunteers to 14.
We are now paying to clean the clothes we have donated so please keep those $$ rolling in and the insurance falls due in January 2021.
So here is to a Happy and Healthy New Year.

I hope there is still a donation box at the dupage correctional facility. I’m gathering my husband’s old suit jackets/dress shirts and hoping to drop off within this week

What a morning! The press conference by Sheriff Mendrick featured what Suits for Success contributed to getting the inmates prepared to become returning citizens to the community and break the cycle of recidivism.

Our ambitious goal is to provide each new parolee with clothing appropriate to their job search.

The gift of a dress shirt, pants, nearly new casual shirt for men, or an outfit for women, can help create a better first impression in that first interview or first return home.
